A track list without a play button is a leap of faith. Music Store Pro puts a real audio player where customers are already looking — on the product page, in product listings, on category headers and among your homepage featured products — so a visitor can listen first and buy second.

How it works

• 1. Upload your audio — drag and drop MP3 and FLAC files into the module's Files tab. Every MP3 is cropped to your preview length immediately at upload, and the crop status of each file is shown in the list.
• 2. Assign tracks to products — up to 30 tracks per product, each with an optional title and artist, plus one track per category. Large catalogues can be assigned in bulk with CSV import/export.
• 3. Choose where the player appears — as a product tab, under the image thumbnails or under the short description; plus listings, category pages and the homepage. Player colours are yours to set.

Previews that are really previews

Customers can only ever reach the cropped file — the original stays untouched in a separate folder that the storefront never links to. Change the preview length and every file is re-cropped automatically. Files that cannot be cropped are flagged in red so you know exactly which ones to re-encode, instead of discovering it from a customer.

Sell the album, the track, or both

Create one virtual product per track with the full-length file and its own price, link it to the matching preview, and switch on single-track selling: every preview then shows a Buy Now button with the price. The album itself keeps its own price and stock — or none at all if you only sell singles.

It checks your server so you don't have to

The Server Status panel verifies that the upload and crop folders are writable, shows your PHP memory limit and your server's per-file upload limit, and warns you before an upload fails. Theme integration is detected reliably: the classic theme is wired up automatically (with a backup of the original template restored at uninstall), and custom themes get exact instructions for the one-time change.

Compatibility

Frequently asked questions

Can customers download the full track from the preview?

No. Only the cropped preview is reachable from the storefront; originals live in a separate folder that is never linked.

How long are the previews?

Whatever you set. Change the length and every MP3 is re-cropped automatically into a folder for that length.

Can I sell single tracks as well as the album?

Yes. Create a virtual product per track with the full file and a price, link it to the preview, and enable single-track selling — each preview gets a Buy Now button.

I have hundreds of tracks — do I assign them one by one?

No. Use the CSV import/export to assign tracks in bulk (upload the audio files first, then import).

Does it work with my custom theme?

Yes. The classic theme is integrated automatically; for custom themes the module detects the missing hooks and shows the exact lines to add to your product template.

What about FLAC files?

FLAC is supported and plays in full length — cropping applies to MP3 only.
